![]() I’m the type where I really benefit from having a personal trainer. I’m not made to feel less than here, and for me that’s huge. I don’t feel like I have to apologize for taking up space, or using a bench when I can only handle 5lb dumbbells. ![]() I don’t feel embarrassed about what I can and can’t do here. And yet I feel just as welcome as the Adonis with 3% body fat. I’m currently the heaviest I’ve ever been, I’m considered obese for my height. As someone who went from having 4 gym memberships at one time that I regularly used, to someone who felt like getting out of bed was enough exercise for the day, I’ve never felt uncomfortable in this gym. People here are also just considerate and don’t hog a space or they’ll let you work in. He got all excited about it and was glad to help. I’ve been out on the floor and seen a huge guy doing an exercise I’d never done before, and I asked him if he wouldn’t mind showing me how to do it. Yes, there are some pretty muscular guys here, and they all congregate in one area. It’s affordable and there are different price points depending on if you want to use specific amenities. I went online and sure enough it was! I showed up at the gym at 7am the next day and someone was available to give me a tour. I randomly drove by Crunch Fitness here a few months ago and wondered if it was the same place as those out west. Yes the gym was nice, but it wasn’t an elite gym and wasn’t worth that kind of money. When I moved here, I joined the YMCA and it was $75/month. But the YMCA was the same price as all the other gyms on the west coast. I love a company that also puts back into the community. I used to work for the YMCA on the west coast and I thought it was fantastic as well. 24 Hour and LA fitness are basically on the same level to me, they’re great gyms, there’s nothing wrong with them, they’re just less personal and the staff seem immature. If you’ve spent any time on fitness social media, you’ve likely seen many jokes about PF, and I’m here to say they’re all basically true. I liked it because it was actually a friendly and knowledgeable environment. I first became aware of Crunch when I lived on the west coast, and it was my favorite gym out of 24 Hour Fitness, LA Fitness, the YMCA, and Planet Fitness. ![]() This gym has great equipment but they are finding their employees and upper management on backpage.Fantastic experience: I love this gym. Leave the police work for the police to do if such crime happened. The only person I think that does any work in their is Jake. Jeff had everyone doing his dirty work from Gio to Albert. Kinsey Peppler literally said she made a mistake and accused the wrong individual and she let the gym know she told them the wrong person, and their pride (gym) stopped them from doing the right thing for the customer. Most of them aren’t even personal trained qualified or certified. Is this a gym or days of our lives episode? All the employees are sleeping with each other. I can understand the embarassment Jeff might have felt revoking someone’s membership then realizing the accuser had the wrong person then sending a apology email telling them to come back then Albert saying noo you can’t. They showed up and then Albert said no you can’t we are still revoking your membership eve n though the accusation was false. ![]() A email was sent apologizing and stating they could come back to the facility after revoking Their membership. Jeff the GM had his manager tell a customer they couldn’t come back to the gym bc someone said she stole her wallet, after embarrassing this individual while she was working out less than 24 hours the accuser said it was the wrong person. This gym is by far the worst in regards to professionalism.
